We are delighted to share that Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has been awarded the \u201cMuslim-Friendly Airline of The Year\u201d at the Halal In Travel Awards which was held in Singapore on 30 May 2024. Accepting the award on behalf of RB was RB\u2019s Senior Vice President Guest Care, Nur Rita Syakirah Abdullah Kaur.<\/p>\n

\u201cRB is truly delighted and proud to receive the award for \u201cMuslim-Friendly Airline of the Year\u201d by Halal In Travel Awards 2024. This award proved our dedication and commitment to ensure our products on-board are Halal and Muslim friendly. We will continue to strive for success as we move forward in technological transformation to enhance our passengers experience across our services truly to our Bruneian values and identity. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the award organisers and our cherished passengers for their support and recognition.\u201d said RB CEO, Captain Sabirin Hj Abd Hamid.<\/p>\n

The Halal in Travel Awards event was organised by Crescent Rating and Halal Trip as part of the 4th Halal in Travel Global Summit. The annual event acknowledges the remarkable achievements and innovations in the Muslim-friendly travel sector. The awards underscores the global impact of destinations, service providers, and marketing campaigns that have exhibited exceptional dedication to meeting the evolving needs of the Muslim travel market.<\/p>\n

The \u201cMuslim-friendly Airline of the Year\u201d title was first introduced this year and part of the Muslim-friendly Service Provider Awards.<\/p>\n

About Royal Brunei Airlines<\/strong><\/p>\n

Royal Brunei Airlines currently operates a fleet of fourteen aircraft comprising five Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, seven Airbus A320NEOs. Halal in Travel Awards is a celebration of the travel industry players\u2019 efforts to make Halal travel a seamless experience. These awards recognise destinations, organisations, companies, and individuals who have made a considerable impact on the Muslim lifestyle travel segment spanning different categories. There are four categories of awards. Each category has a list of awards given to the top performer based on the winner selection process.
