[vc_row el_class=”redemingmilespage”][vc_column][vc_column_text]The internationally-acclaimed full-service airline Hong Kong Airlines and Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), the national flag carrier of Brunei Darussalam, signed a codeshare agreement today to provide travellers with enhanced connections in Asia.<\/p>\n

Under the agreement,\u00a0Hong Kong Airlines\u2019 \u201cHX\u201d code will be placed on RB daily flights between Hong Kong and Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital and largest city of the Sultanate of Brunei. At the same time, RB will place its \u201cBI\u201d code on Hong Kong Airlines\u2019 daily flights between Hong Kong and onwards to Tokyo, Japan.<\/p>\n

Mr Karam Chand, Chief Executive Officer of RB said \u201cRB would like to warmly welcome on board Hong Kong Airlines as our latest codeshare partner. Hong Kong Airlines has over 30 destinations in their network that RB do not fly to. RB customers now have a choice to travel to Tokyo (NRT) via Hong Kong (HKG) on board with Hong Kong Airlines. Through this partnership, RB and its passengers will benefit from the bigger joint network and more choices .\u201d<\/p>\n

Flight tickets between Bandar Seri Begawan and Hong Kong under the codeshare agreement can be purchased via your preferred travel agents or through both Royal Brunei Airlines\u2019 and Hong Kong Airlines\u2019 sales offices and call centre from 8 September 2016 onwards. The sales of flight tickets to Japan via Hong Kong from Bandar Seri Begawan will commence in November.<\/p>\n
