Today, Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has released a special video produced exclusively to commemorate Brunei Darussalam\u2019s 37th National Day leading up to the celebration on 23rd February 2021.<\/p>\n
The video featured RB\u2019s staff and front liners singing along to the popular patriotic song \u2018Tekad Kemerdekaan\u2019 (The Pledge of Independence). The song \u2018Tekad Kemerdekaan\u2019 was written by H.M. Mashadi and composed by Major (B) Hj Manaf Haji Kamis in 1984. The composer is the father to one of our staff, Yudy Firman Hj Manaf. Yudy\u2019s mother Hjh Saadiah Bte Hj Ghazali is also the original female vocalist of the song. Both Yudy and his parents were also featured in the video content.<\/p>\n

RB is the ambassador of Brunei in the skies and through each of the scenes, we reflect Bruneian\u2019s warm hospitality in the way we do our work. Towards the end of the video, the number\u201837\u2019 was formed to commemorate the country\u2019s years of independence. More than 100 staff from various division & departments took part in the formation with RB\u2019s environmentally-friendly fleet \u2013 the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A320NEO in the special Brunei Tourism livery.<\/p>\n
RB will participate in this year\u2019s national day parade with representations in two groupings under the Private Sectors and Front liners.<\/p>\n
